This morning we went for breakfast to the Boatshed in Balmoral Beach. Sarah was reading and I was sketching her.

Café @ Kent St, Sydney

There is a very nice Café at Kent Street, Sydney. I didn't get the name I'll try to get it next time. It was a massive red coffee cup full of mint candies great for skteching! 

Hay una cafeteria genial en Kent Street, Sydney. Una de las cosas que más me han gustado ha sido la taza roja gigante llena de caramelos de menta, ideal para dibujar!

We expend time with some friends in their house in Wauchope, NSW. When I sketch people I ask them to not to pose for me, but keep conversing and moving all the time. I do not try to find resemblance but "humanity". Brush-pen and Watercolors. 

Pasamos varios en días en casa de unos amigos en Wauchope, Nueva Gales del Sur (cerca de Port Macquarie). Cuando dibujo a gente les pido que no posen, no estoy interesado en "retratarlos" sino en dibujar personas, por lo que les pido que sigan charlando y moviendose tanto como lo harían normalmente. Pincel y Acuarela.

Santi on the phone. He moves a lot, but it´s ok, the picture looks distorded and fun. There you go! 

Santi al telefono. Me da tiempo de dibujarle. Se mueve demasiado, lo que es bueno, porque el dibujo pierde parecido con la realidad y puedo colgar la imagen en Internet (despues de pedirle permiso).
